Cover Girl: Camilla Belle for Tatler

Camilla Belle, the From Prada to Nada actress is found gracing the cover for the Tatler Russia August issue. The shoot is the pinnacle of elegance with sharp cut blazers and intricately sequined gowns.

Two of my favorite looks are the golden mesh dress with sequined sleeves and the sheer chiffon top Camilla is seen wearing on the bed. The only critique I would give is that a few of the looks are a little too aged for her. She is only in her 20s, yet the look at the ping pong table makes her appear much older. What I also thought was interesting with this layout was that the photos look like a jewelry advertisement. Each image showcases the large jewels she is seen wearing.

Katy Perry: The Smurfs Premiere

Since I've been putting a lot of blogs up about fashion at different film premieres, I came across Katy Perry at The Smurfs. Katy Perry is not shy about dressing up for events. She loves having the outfit that everyone talks about and her Smurfs inspired dress definitely is one to talk about. As Katy is the voice for Smurfette in the film, she chose to pay ode to her character by wearing a large rhinestoned version of Smurfette on her teeny tiny white dress. I was curious what everyone else's thoughts were on the dress?
Sometimes Katy is off the mark with her outrageous looks, but this one I love! Her new blonde hair helps soften her, letting the dress stand out on its own.

Crazy, Stupid, Love Premiere: Best Dressed

I have been anxiously anticipating the release of the film Crazy, Stupid, Love since I first saw the hilarious trailer weeks ago. With an all star cast including Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, and my personal favorites Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone what could be better?

Not only does the film look hilarious while still holding on to its dramatic moments through the destruction and reconstruction of a marriage, but it shows some fantastic fashion choices. Speaking of fashion, the New York premiere for the film showcased great looks that I want to highlight.

Captain America Premiere: Best Dressed

As a self-proclaimed nerd, I absolutely cannot wait until Captain America opens tomorrow. In preparation for the film, I went through the amazing pictures from the U.S. premiere for the film. Chris Evans must read this blog because he wore my #1 favorite look for a guy, a three piece fitted suit.

I cannot praise him enough for his choice. He looked sharp, confident, and sophisticated in his navy blue suit with checkered pocket square. Chris wore a brown leather belt with a matching heavy masculine brown leather watch. As the leading man for the film, he absolutely looked the part. (Chris also took a note from fellow Avenger, Robert Downey Jr. by wearing tinted colored sunglasses.)
I've also compiled some of my other favorite looks from the premiere, in no particular order.
Amanda Righetti
Zoe Saldana
Jamie Chung
Elsa Pataky & Chris Hemsworth
Maria Menounos
Jamie Alexander

What do you think of these summer looks? Were they hits or misses?

We recently did a shoot for our brand new tank: Retro Vision. It features a 60s television design in a vibrant purple. We had a blast doing the photos, especially the underwater ones. Check them out as well as a few outtakes. You can purchase the tank at: Chickey Designs
The Retro Vision tank also goes brilliant with our new Royalty bracelet. Which you can purchase here

What I Wore: Dresses Galore

It's been a long time since I've done a What I Wore post and felt it was time to get back on the horse, so to speak. Over the past couple weeks I have gone dress crazy! In all my life I haven't been a dress person, i'm more of the jeans type. I must say, wearing dresses is starting to grow on me, especially with the wide variety of options out there.
Dress: Olive & Oak. Sunglasses: RayBan club master
Dress: A. Maglia. Sunglasses: RayBan Aviators Shoes: Jack Rogers (This is actually my graduation day dress and I decided to make it more casual as an everyday dress. Also my dog looks like a little weirdo in this picture. Don't mind her.)
Dress: Isabel Lu. Shoes: Sam Edelman (I put a belt on this dress to give it a little more shape and break up the black).
